This policy explains what information Manjunath Designs (“we”) handles on this website and in the billing app our staff use at the shop counter, and why.

This website

• We don’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
• The contact form doesn’t send anything to us directly. It opens WhatsApp with your message typed in; nothing is shared until you press send there. WhatsApp’s own privacy policy then applies to that chat.
• Fonts and images are served from our own server, so visiting the site doesn’t send your details to other companies.
• Links to Google Maps and WhatsApp take you to those services, which have their own policies.

The shop’s billing app

Our owner and staff use an app at the counter for bills, payments and orders. It stores item, bill and payment records, and — only for customers who buy on credit or pay an advance — the customer’s name and mobile number, so we can keep their account and send statements.

This data is stored on the shop’s phones and on a server in India (AWS, Mumbai). It is used only to run the shop. We don’t sell it or share it with anyone, except where the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

Bill and payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting rules require. [CONFIRM PERIOD]
